Stayed for a second time with my partner. Lovely hotel/ staff very helpful and the rooms very clean. We had a room with balcony two sun loungers was a nice touch. The rooftop bar was really nice and the food and cocktails a must. Will definitely stay again.

I had the misfortune to fall down the steps at the entrance of the hotel, badly gashing my forehead. The caring response from the staff was excellent. I have to single out Ruben who rang for an ambulance and held an umbrella over me to keep off the sun whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive. He also provided me with an ice pack to hold on the wound. We had a 3 night stay, on a B&B basis, in the hotel which is just a few minutes walk from Plaça Catalunya. We would certainly stay in this hotel should we ever return to Barcelona.

Just home from a one week stay at the Negresco Princess hotel in Barcelona. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The location is great, walking distance to a lot of attractions, restaurants and bars. There are 3 metro stations near by which will take you to any attraction (metro system very easy to use). The staff were very friendly and the housekeeping was spot on. We had an issue on the first day with our shower, there was no hot water coming from it, we informed reception and it was fixed within a couple of hours. The mini bar was restocked every day with 5 drinks free of charge which was a nice touch (2 waters, fresh orange, coke and a beer). We had a room with a balcony, the room was a decent size, bed was very comfy, bathroom was good and spacious, the balcony was good as well with great views. The only let down about the room was the tv. The hotel has a rooftop bar and pool and sauna. These are all good. The rooftop bar and pool aren’t the biggest, the pool will hold about 8-10 people comfortably and is pretty shallow, but it is a rooftop pool after all. The rooftop bar also slightly on the small side, but we got a seat every time we went. There are some great views from the roof. One thing we were a bit disappointed about was the wear and tear around the hotel. The carpets were a bit dirty and worn, the walls damaged/dirty in some areas, curtains in the room stained. Nothing terrible, but it did let the place down a little. This is the only reason we are giving it a 4 star rather than 5. Would recommend for couples staying in Barcelona.

My kids and I attended the hotels breakfast buffet. It was a great disappointment. There were a lot of choices, but the quality of each thing was truly low. Served in a room with very bad acoustics and no ambiance. Coffee made with powdered milk Juice made from an automate from water mixed with something and supposed to end up fresh? Bread that was jenuine and boring, not homemade. Fried eggs with a crust on the yolk very little homemade Very little taste There is a conflict between price and quality, you cannot serve such a bad breakfast with that price. Location and roof terrasse was nice. Rooms were medium. They tried to charge me turist tax on my kids, not realy honest way of earning money.

Perfect location to explore Barcelona - we walked everywhere. Hotel was way above our expectations and all the staff went above and beyond. They offer a concierge service and recommended and booked restaurants for us. Breakfast was of high quality, rooftop terrace and pool was a bonus. We had a lovely 3 nights and would definitely return/recommend this hotel!
